Bio

I am a sports medicine clinician scientist from Canada. I am a professor and Assistant Dean at McMaster University. I have a passion for improving the health, safety, and well-being of athletes at all levels. My international focus at the elite level of sport extends from scientific research to knowledge translation, policy development, advocacy, and prevention. I have a particular interest in the health of women athletes, REDs, Safe Sport, and athlete mental health. I am privileged to partner with many international sport institutions
including FIFA (Science), World Rugby (Anti-doping), International Golf(Medicine), World Anti Doping Agency (Deputy Foundation Board Member), International Testing Agency(Health & Clinical Expert Group), ASOIF (Medical & Scientifi c Consult Group), and the International OlympicCommittee (Games Group, Mental Health Working Group).
